Mondays aren't most peoples favorite day of the week, maybe they just feel like eating out instead of cooking. Plus this being Spring Break week may have something to do with it.....

If you like Sorrentos then you must try Paradise on Leila.

Are they the same owners as Paradise on Portage at Broadway?

I suspect two things conspired against you Deank: spring break and the combined sh1tty weather we had last week and great weather yesterday. People are just sick of being stuck indoors...

Your problem is trying to go to any chain restaurant in the St. James area - for numerous reasons.

Go to a smaller place in Osborne, along Corydon or Academy, in the West End, along Portage, or in St. B and you'd get great food.

I agree on that one DeanK, Paradise on Portage is the better location. As for Sorrento's on McPhillips I will only order take out from there as I don't find the atmosphere there to be very friendly. I have had better service though from the Sorrento's on Ellice.

I am not a fan of Sorrentos. I have been ill after eating at the one on Ellice. I avoid it at all costs.

I have never had bad food from Paradise on Leila or Portage. I know the owners. Lisi's is also anothe rgood spot.

I really don't understand the appeal of Olive Garden? It isn't even real Italian Food. I prefer real Italian food.

They took all the trees and put them in a tree museum.

And they charged all the people
A dollar and a half just to see 'em.

Don't it always seem to go

That you don't know what you've got till it's gone?

They paved paradise and put up a parking lot.

The appeal of Olive Garden to me is, I go there, order a meal, fill up on breadsticks, soup and salad, and when the meal comes, I say wrap it up and I have a lunch ready for tomorrow Wink

Still not a big fan. Red Lobster has to be the more gross one of the two.

Orlandos on Corydon is yummy. I haven't been there for a while but the last time I was there it was superb.
