Watching the news this morning and the two asswipes that tortured this poor little girl are asking for their sentences to be reduced to Manslaughter.....technically speaking they did commit first degree murder because of the forcible confinement of the girl in that dark, cold basement....bastards.....evil bastards.

meh mentally chaining someone to a washing machine is the same as physically doing it.

I still dont understand how these two are still alive. Are they in solitary confinement perhaps?

What crap!!

These 2 snotbags murdered a little girl after subjecting her to untold abuses, then they tried to hide it by burying her in the woods. They have been tried, found guilty (not like there was nay doubt) and sentenced. Done deal. How the hell can we call it a justice system, when these 2 pieces of sh1t, can actually appeal their conviction based on some legal hocus pocus. They don't deserve oxygen let alone more time, effort and money spent on their sick and sorry carcasses.

REMEMBER WHO THE VICTIM IS IN THIS CASE, and it ain't those 2.

....but the goddamned victim card is gonna get used......if that is the case then legislation should be enacted to stop anyone from reproducing who has suffered a terrible childhood....oh shite!!!! That would be a rather backhanded Malthusian approach as that would encompass all FACETS OF FRIGGIN HUMANITY!!!
