Last month I was paying my MTS bill and for the 1st time I actually looked at what I was being charged. The last time I checked the bill was 54 years ago approximately, when cable 1st started . It was $7.95 per month back then!
$35 for basic cable! Holy Moly! I phoned in to confirm. I asked if $35 was the correct charge, and the customer service rep said yes! I replied "it isn't worth it", and he agreed! he changed my bill to $19.95 per month for 12 months, plus I got to select 9 packages for the same cost. All I could find was 7 that suited me. The next week at 2:30 in the morning, when I awoke with no one to call, I called MTS and was yacking with the person on duty, trying to find 2 more packages, the person gave me the Movie Channels ($15.95 per month) for free for the next 3 months. I am in heaven at $19.95 with 2 gazillion channels and lots of very current movies.
Not as good as $7.95 my old cost, but pretty damn good!
