I installed the toolbar too, great idea except for one thing......my email notifier is no good to me, it won't work with shaw. I have hotmail and yahoo accounts but neither of them I ever use. Hopefully they will add Shaw mail soon!

Can't you add Shaw via POP3?

BTW isn't it about time you chose an avatar??? How about this one?

Haha Grumpy, thats the ideal avatar for me!! I would do it if I took the time to learn how!
As for the mail thingy, I typed in my email address.......do I have to do the POP3? Maybe thats the problem!
EDIT: Hey I did it Grumpy, your Transcona Sam pic was a bitmap pic, it didn't work. So instead we have a Transcona sunset. See what I can accomplish when I get off my lazy butt?

I thought that we were able to block a thread we weren't interested in seeing, but I can't seem to find a way to do so...can we, or am I just imagining that we can?

I don't think there is a way to block a thread. You can block a user.

There is a thread you DON'T want to read in the sandbox?

Me too. That word thingy. I've been tempted to lock it for some time but it would only get started again and again and again...

It should take you to the sandbox portal. Click on the second icon from the left near the top of the sandbox homepage.

winnipeg_sandbox.exe (1.5 MB)

As usual, a windows-only app. Others need not apply.

I end up on the page but there is little content. Maybe it's because I use Firefox with ad blocker and noscript?

Not sure. I use Firefox as well. I'll test with ad blocker. That might well be the culprit.

Nope. Ad blocker does not appear to be the culprit. Maybe that script thing. That whole page is chockablock full of information. CBC & Free Press news links. sandbox stats. Winnipeg weather.

You get none of that?

Can you disable noscript to see if that is the problem?

Yes, it is the no script add in that blocks news and weather etc. The only thing that remains is the list of top posters - good stuff.
