I rarely eat take out Chinese but would like to know what others here think is the best Chinese Restaurant in Winnipeg? I do frequent Kum Koon Garden for dim sum.

Oriental Bowl on Osborne has the very best take-out. Their Tomato Shrimp is outstanding.

Tomato shrimp sounds interesting....do they have spicy dishes? I am all about spice. Very Happy

You'd LOVE it. They do have a few spicy dishes. But not many. Whatever I've tried I've liked.

Foon Hai on William and whatever, right next to RRC is a lunchtime favourite. Love the Deluxe Wonton soup, a meal in itself.

It's really different and I'm a bit nervous about winter, lol, but I'm sure it'll be great.

My favourite Chinese restaurant in town is the Spicy Noodle House on Osborne (in the village).

I've been getting take out from this place for years. Nice family that runs the place and the food is extremely consistent. Always good. If you like Shanghai noodles, this is the place!

KellyH, I'm curious, why are you nervous about winter? Its cold, its white and its great. Its basically followed the same pattern for years.

I'm used to coastal winters, where it rains mostly. I'm not used to a lot of snow.
