A picture is worth a thousand words, and this image captured by a Free Press photographer is no exception. A dejected Mike Kelly departs the Bomber office to collect his personal belongings, and plans to return to the US shortly.

He hasn't been convicted of anything yet, so crossing shouldn't be a problem.

I don't think it makes too much of a difference. If you are charged with a fairly serious offense, but have yet to goto trial, you can be considered a flight risk, and customs can ban you from entering the country.

However, in Kelly's case, it appears to be a minor domestic issue, and he does have a work visa for Canada, so I doubt he would have much of a problem crossing the border.

all you need to be is charged.

Why? because too many people who are charged flee to Canada.

As long as he paid all duties at the border, they'd let him into the country.
