I caught this train wreck of a movie the other night on TV. It was one of those movies so freakin bad that once you start watching you cant look away just because you need to see the next completely huge plot hole, dialog inconsistency or complete impossibility that comes up.

Like for instance. Finding a working laptop amongst the ruins of an entire building that burnt down and the only other things that survived intact was one picture... and high yield explosives.

Yup. a fire strong enough and hot enough to destroy a building, wont cause high explosives to fail in some way. Then the laptop goes on to have a miraculous battery life of a huge amount of hours, coupled with the ability to connect to some miraculous internet when all phone and radio service has been mysteriously shut down.

AND... did you know that somehow lava rocks turn green and hurl at insane speeds from the sky even when there has been no eruption? And the that best place to hide from a lava event is underground and the best place to hide from a flood is also underground? in an open mine?

ugg. I have wasted enough of your life making you read this summary. DO NOT under any circumstances start watching this movie.

Hey...it sounds like the torture that we endured sitting through Scorsese's film Shutter Island.

There was nothing on I was interested, so I kept the Lava movie on for background noise ( and I am interested in environmental things, travel to volcanoes sometimes). I agree, it was utter nonsense with a cheesy soundtrack.

if the movie is so bad...why are you putting it in the "entertainment" section?
