So A house goes on sale for over 7 mill... and all the haters come out saying these people a pigs and what not for building a house like that and saying crap like they should be using their money for the poor and such.

At least the Free Press has been stopping comments on some
stories if "submissions have been consistently unacceptable".

The trouble with the WFP allowing only such comments is it may lead to a very distorted view of the common man. If they were only deleting racist or hateful or such-like comments that'd be acceptable.

But I can tell you those are not the only comments they censor. They delete opposing comments as well.

The paper should stop publishing comments if they won't allow all comments.

Personally if I had the money there is no way I'd spend that kind of coin on a house. But I have zero problem with someone else living that way.

He once had a house on Wellington Crescent (the old Ashdown joint I believe) that he put on sale for a cool $1 M. He said that every city had to have the most expensive house...and he reckoned his was it at the time.

I find the comments attached to the article incredible. I bet the people making comments about the opulence of the house and the "waste" of money are the same ones that would tell us that we are being judgemental about the "homeless", etc.

G.O.M.- I don't think you should talk about deleting comments, because since you unhooked my favorite "THUMBS DOWN" toy, nothing has ever been the same, and I have had 107 private messages of condolence!
It really has been hard to get used to that missing piece of this excellent forum!

There was only a very very small group of people who had a problem with the thumbs up/down feature (One person). And thanks to their constant whining it was removed. I think the way it is now is stupid and should be removed in its entirety.

How on earth can you GOM write that when you GOM "LOCK TRREADS INSTEAD" when you don't agree with what someone writes/posts or what their opinions may or may not be or what the subject matter may or may not be?...

And you continuously offer those threads to peeps (Freeman) that you are well aware of and or you know to be on another peeps "FOE LIST" and so forth...

And then you GOM allow that peep that is on another peeps foe list to "Slander" and or "Defame" the peep and then "LOCK THE THREAD" without offering the peep being slandered or defamed a chance to defend themselves...

And what you call "Trolling" is actually "Cyberbullying" or "Cyberstalking" and you simply don't seem to be able to get it already...

And it is really simple GOM...It's against the "LAW" and furthermore simple for someone to gather or obtain or have a "TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF REAL EVIDENCE" available in relation to a "Public Forum" such as the "Sandbox" if it is found to occur in such an environment...

And or in the WFP and or any other public forum and the WFP is simply trying to protect it's own butt because what you need to truly look into is what is called in Civic Law as "Vicarious Liability" and how it can affect the Sandbox and or the WFP and or any other public forum that allows "Unlawful Behaviors To Occur In Their Public Forums"...

And or more specifically perhaps even the forum found to promote such behaviors such as when you continuously "LOCK THREADS" in the manner you have been and in case you haven't noticed it is always a Thread that involves GGF and his known "Foe Freeman" that are locked by you GOM and that can be seen as promoting Cyberbullying and or Cyberstalking instead of dealing with the peep engaged in the behavior instead of rewarding them with a "LOCKED THREAD" such as you seem willing to do and or doing all the time...

And furthermore as a result of what the peep posts which is slander and defamatory and I have every right in the world to defend myself against it and cannot because you continuously lock threads instead of "Stopping the peeps that posts that sh$t" and those peeps have absolutely nothing else to post in relation to the thread subject matter other then "a personal attack on the peep and on a continuous basis always"...and also regardless of the thread the peep that is being "Cyberstalked" posts in...

And or someone continuing to make false allegations against someone to use the "Coppers to Harass that Individual" is also against the "LAW"...

And "EVIDENCE" is what is important in a "Court of LAW" and not what some peeps post in the box or other forums etc...

And evidence in relation to 3 Bogus "Noise Summons" that were actually Provincial Summons instead of Municipal Summons issued by coppers and then these same coppers being involved to incarcerate me on Mischief enjoyment of property charges that "Apparently are suppose to be in relation to noises being created or something of that nature"...and so on...

And my point is simple...I would simply prefer to not have to add "Freeman" and or the "Sandbox" to my list of lawsuits and therefore the reason for this post...

And or continuously post in relation to what the coppers have done to me or not and or any other situation relating to it other than a thread that is suppose to be about the subject matter but continuously end up locked instead because of a few peeps that simply cannot handle the thread subject matter and have been rewarded with the threads being locked instead...
