The ATM was owned and operated by the hospital.

WTF??? They didn't miss $2,000,000????

That hospital is seriously screwed up imho. Do the nuns still run the joint?

What else haven't they been doing?

On national CBC they just said 'between $100,000 and $2M'.

WTF are they doing in the ATM business anyway? Do they also own the candy machines?

They are in the ATM business because at $1.50 each time someone uses it and having the captive audience that they have, they are making some huge money off of it. I would guess on average each machine makes $700 per day AFTER the costs of the machine are paid for.

Note the Costco ATMs charge only 75 cents per use... basically what they are being charged by the ATM service.

Something's wrong at that hospital imo.

A few years ago they got some much needed health care dollars. They built a parking structure with the money.

Yet 2 out of 10 people walk out of their "Urgent Care" unit.

I cant stand the fact that we allow hospitals and medical clinics to charge for parking. Regardless of how much money it brings to the hospital for other things ( and it is quite a freakin lot of money ) people should be able to go to the hospital or attend a doctors clinic without having to worry about getting towed or ticketed.
