If anyone knows where there are public bulletin boards in the Downtown/North End of the city (north of Portage to Perimeter, West to 90, East to the River) it would be wonderful if you could share. My sales territory is within these boundaries, and a portion of my efforts is centred on recruitment/prospecting. Where there are a lot of boards in other parts of town, I'm finding that I keep running into community only boards, and I need to find some that allow commercial postering.
Help a sister out?

Try the WRHA Access centres @ 650 Main Street and 755 Portage. No idea if they have the bulletin boards you're looking for. If I can think of other locations I'll let ya know.

actually...every community centre has a public bulletin board (though you may need to ask permission to hang something)

Also, most Safeways have one as you walk in the door (just watch for bullets)

Unfortuanately, the community centres typically refuse me because I'm posting for commerical interests, and the space is free for community events and individual people. Thanks for the suggestions though. If anyone ever notices something specific like "Las Cabo Crabo on Main and Atlantic (fictional, of course) has a board!!" please let me know.

Try some of the locally owned corner stores and video shops, one in particular that I can think of is Video 1001 on Mountain & McGregor. Also the laundry mats may be able to accommodate you. There is one on Main and Cathedral next to the 7 Eleven. The Pollocks Hardware Coop is another community based store that you could try.
