Well the Flames have been setting the league on fire over the last month. They are 11 points ahead of the nearest opponent in the Northeast Division, and it looks like they can take a run at the Wings and Sharks if they keep this up. Kipper has been red hot, Iginla has been dominant as usual, and Bertuzzi and Cammalleri have really stepped up to the plate.
Last night they won again to improve their record to 30-14-4. Can this be the season that the Flames go all the way? Hopefully so!

Ummm... A CALGARY Flames thread in a Winnipeg forum? Well, okay. I do enjoy watching Iginla and Phaneuf. Don't care much for Keenan.

I'll cheer for Calgary everyday over Vancouver. Man I can't stand the Canucks. Dislike 'em maybe even more than the Maple Leafs. Not sure how that came about but it is what it is.

And the way the Canucks have played of late, even with the recent arrival of the chicken Swede and the return of the supposed "best goalie" in the league...I love it.

Looking into my crystal ball, I see the Flames meeting up with the Anaheim Ducks in the first round. The Flames will easily take the series 4-2. Calgary will then meet up with the yong and upcoming Chicago Blackhawks, who will prove no match for the talented Flames. Calgary wins 4-1. In the Conference finals, the Flames will get revenge on the Sharks, as Kipper stonewalls San Jose's best snipers. 4-2 Flames.
In the Stanley Cup Finals, Calgary will play the Bruins. The Flames will play the best hockey of their lives. Iginla will score 7 goals in the series and 4 game winning goals, as Calgary will raise the Cup at the Saddledome in Game 6.

Nah, the Flaming Flembots will choke even more than the Oilers, and for the next five years too. There is nothing more that I enjoy then seeing Calgary choke, in any form!
